Itinerary

At first a introduction at the Ibrahim Paşa Palace. This is where your adventure begins, at the wonderful Ibrahim Paşa Palace. It's an old and special building that now holds the Turkish & Islamic Art Museum. You'll meet your guide here, someone who knows a lot about the place, and together, you'll explore and learn.

Inside, you'll find a huge collection of carpets. They come from different places like the Seljuk Empire, Iran, and the Caucasian regions. Each one is like a masterpiece, with beautiful patterns and designs carefully woven into them.

You'll also see amazing writing. They're not just any kind of writing, but special and artistic. Some are from really old copies of the Quran, and others are important messages from the past rulers. They show the skill and culture of the people who made them.

There's more than just carpets and writing. You'll discover many different kinds of art made from wood, glass, ceramic, and stone. Artists from places that used to be part of the Islamic regions made them. It's like a big art gallery!

Your guide will make sure you understand everything and find it interesting. They'll share stories about the history and culture connected to the artworks. It's like having a friend who knows a lot about the place showing you around.

After the guided tour, you can spend some extra time here on your own in the Palace. You can explore more on your own, relax, and enjoy the special feeling of this place.
