During days of high turnout or due to unforeseen circumstances like high tide or security issues, the waiting time to access St. Mark’s Basilica may be longer than anticipated.
To visit the Basilica, appropriate attire is necessary (no shorts). For security reasons, suitcases, backpacks, or large bags are not permitted inside. Before your visit, you must deposit them at the Ateneo San Basso (St. Mark’s Square- Calle san Basso). The storage service is free, but please allow ample time!
