Stepping into this frozen wonderland, you will first find yourself in a Bremerhaven tavern, connecting with fellow crew members over a complimentary drink. The call to board the Hansa ship signals the start of your journey into the icy unknown. Equipped with a warm jacket and gloves, you will enter the frozen icebar. Here, as the ship metaphorically gets trapped in the ice, you will abandon ship and embrace the Arctic's frigid embrace. Amidst ice sculptures and chilly winds, indulge in two more included drinks, served in glasses made entirely of ice.

Itinerary

Cross the threshold into Berlin Icebar, where the adventure begins in a cozy Bremerhaven tavern. One of the earliest ice bars was constructed in 1993 in Jukkasjärvi. When you enter, you will be given an Eskimo jacket and gloves because the temperature inside stays around 5 degrees below zero. Share stories and a drink with fellow explorers, setting the stage for the icy expedition ahead. Prepare for the journey as the captain beckons you to board the Hansa ship.
 
Armed against the cold with a provided warm jacket and gloves, venture into the heart of the icebar. Feel the atmosphere change as the ship metaphorically encounters pack ice. Dive into history with the gripping narrative of the German Polar Expedition. Commencing in 1896, the Hansa crew, in the presence of King Wilhelm I and Chancellor Bismarck, faced challenges as the ship succumbed to pack ice. Abandoning the ship, the surviving crew endured harsh conditions on an ice floe, battling polar bears before making a triumphant return a year later.

Redemption Info

You can redeem your mobile or printed voucher at the attraction counter ICEBAR Berlin, Spandauer Straße 2, 10178 Berlin.
You will receive a ticket in exchange for your voucher, which you must keep until the expiry date/ tour.
Please check your ticket to know when it expires.
After exchanging your voucher for a ticket, your voucher will no longer be valid.
In loss of voucher/ticket, company is not liable for any refund.

Know Before You Go

Wheelchair Accessibility: Yes, you can access the complete Icebar, including the toilets, with a wheelchair.
Pets are not allowed inside the Icebar.
The attraction is just 10 min. walking distance from the Alexanderplatz.
Dress appropriately, do not wear shorts, skirts, dresses or open shoes as it can get pretty cold.
There is no food available inside Icebar.
Lockers are not available. Please carry small bags/purses and keep it with you.
You can purchase extra drinks inside Lounge Bar. It is not possible to do so inside the Frozen Icebar.
Operational update: There is a schedule change on 27th April 2024, due to the KINGS DAY in Amsterdam-
Icebar Opening Hours: 12:00 noon-12:00 mid night (Last admission ticket sale 11:00pm)
