You will know about the gardens, house, and pond. At times this place is crowded but this tour will give the opportunity to explore in non-busy times.

Itinerary

Join on a delightful journey to the picturesque village of Giverny, a place that stirred the creative genius of Claude Monet, the renowned master of the Impressionist movement. This tour offers you the freedom to explore Giverny at your own pace, allowing you to immerse yourself in the beauty and inspiration that captivated Monet.

Giverny, a charming Norman village, serves as the backdrop where Monet painted some of his most exquisite masterpieces. As you wander through the enchanting gardens, carefully preserved in their original splendor, you will find yourself transported into Monet's imaginative world. The house, adorned in shades of pink and green on the outside and bursting with vibrant colors within, along with the two gardens, adorned with flowers from spring to autumn, constitute exceptional works of art in themselves.

A highlight of your visit is the Japanese bridge within the Water Garden. Here, you will encounter the famous water lilies and majestic weeping willows gracing a charming pond. Strolling through the paths of the Clos Normand, an enclosed Norman plot, you will be dazzled by the kaleidoscope of colors in the flower beds. These vibrant hues will lead you into a world of daydreams and romance, making your visit truly magical.

To round off your exploration, venture into the Museum of Impressionism, home to one of the most impressive collections of Impressionist works. Marvel at the artistic treasures and gain a deeper understanding of the movement that Monet spearheaded.

If time permits, meander through the quaint streets of Giverny, adorned with galleries showcasing the works of painters and sculptors. Pause at a local coffee shop or bakery to savor the charm of village life. Do not forget to explore the little church at the end of Claude Monet’s Street, where you will discover Monet's resting place, adding a poignant touch to your journey.

As the tour concludes, you will return home brimming with wonder, having experienced the sweet life of Impressionist Normandy. The memories of Monet's gardens, the vibrant colors, and the artistic ambiance of Giverny will linger, leaving you with a profound appreciation for the beauty that inspired one of the greatest artists of all time.
