Due the nature of this type of tour and varying demand, group travellers should be aware that there is no guarantee that the group will be able to travel altogether as the available seats vary from stop to stop and depends on demand each day. The group may need to split up and/or wait for the next bus(s).

Overview

Get ready to explore popular French sites with a professional guide-interpreter. You will be delighted to visit the Beaches of Normandy with natural beauty. Explore two towns Rouen and Honfleur. The excursion will continue to Saint-Malo and Mont Saint-Michel. The tour will end in the Loire Valley where you can visit the three castles Langeais, Chambord, and Chenonceau. Itinerary

Visit the famous Normandy, the popular tourist destination in the northwestern region of France.

DAY 1: Tour to Rouen, Honfleur, and the Normandy Beaches

Set off on the two hours journey from Paris on the Normandy highway and visit the city of Rouen. Enjoy a walking tour in a historic district and witness Notre Dame Cathedral, charming medieval pedestrian streets, the Gros Horloge, and the half-timbered houses. Later you will visit Honfleur and en route, you can witness the spectacular Pont de Normandie suspension bridge spanning the Seine estuary. Explore Honfleur at your pace and witness colorful houses and lovely streets. Relish tasty food items in one of the Honfleur’s restaurants with a scenic sea view.

The bus will move again along the Norman coastline so you can witness the popular Normandy beaches, the sites for World War II history. Next, you will drive to the Arromanches beach where you can see spy traces of pontoons used to support the artificial harbor.

The day ends at the hotel where you will enjoy dinner and relax for the night.

Day 2: Visit Saint-Malo and the Mont Saint-Michel

The tour continues to Saint Malo, a town with rich heritage and it is approximately 170 kilometers from the hotel you stayed. Witness the Saint-Malo Cathedral, city walls, Château and Fort National during the tour. The guide will give information about Mont Saint-Michel, which lies on a rocky peak and is located amidst a beautiful bay. Move towards the top of the village and witness museums, shops, and traditional houses. The Benedictine abbey at the top of the mountain dates back to the 8th century. Admire the Gothic structure at the Mont-Saint abbey that features a garden and a cloister with mesmerizing sea views. Stroll the busy streets and witness a spectacular view of the bay and relish delicious crêpes.

DAY 3: Tour of the Loire Valley: Castles of Langeais, Chenonceau and Chambord

Embark on a journey for the Loire Valley and visit the Château de Langeais, an unspoiled fortified castle. Witness the interior of the medieval era and you can discover French history.

Move towards the castle of Chenonceau after the visit of Langeais. See beautiful architecture, gardens, and furniture in this castle. This is a Renaissance masterpiece and played a significant role in French history. "Château des Dames", was renovated for several years by famous women Diane de Poitiers and Catherine de Médicis.

Admire beautifully adorned rooms that showcase French life and later you will move towards Chambord. Look at the impressive architecture of the castle and with priority access you can quickly enter the castle.
