Our Niagara Falls Day Tour is a super fun journey that starts at 55 York Street. You'll love every bit of this trip! We'll travel through the Golden Horseshoe region to get to the Niagara Peninsula, where the famous Niagara Falls is. On our way, a friendly guide will share cool stories about the area and the falls. You'll see awesome things like Lake Ontario, the Niagara Escarpment, and the Welland Canal.
Then, the exciting part: we'll drive on a cool road called the parkway to see the falls up close. You can add more fun stuff like a boat cruise, a helicopter ride, or other cool tours (just ask when you book). The boat cruise is super cool but only works from May to October. No worries if it's not working; we'll take you behind the falls instead. After we fill our tummies with lunch and have some free time, we'll leave Niagara Falls for a scenic drive along the Niagara Parkway. You'll see awesome places like Queenston Heights, Floral Clock, Power Generating Station, Whirlpool Rapids, Laura Secord Homestead, McFarland house, and Fort George.
Next up is Niagara-on-the-Lake, a beautiful, old-timey town with lots of cool stuff for everyone. Walk around the streets, check out cool shops for food and clothes, or take a horse-drawn carriage for some old-fashioned fun. Before we head back to Toronto, we'll stop at Niagara College for some free wine tasting (if you're old enough, of course). Just a heads up, things might change sometimes because of stuff we can't control. And in winter, the plan might flip because of daylight savings. When the Niagara City Cruises boat tour isn't running, we'll switch it up with the Journey Behind The Falls (both only from May to October).
Now, the Niagara Parkway is like a magical road connecting Niagara-on-the-Lake to Niagara Falls. It's so pretty! Check out what you'll see:
• Botanical Gardens: Near Niagara Falls, there's a place called the Niagara Parks Botanical Gardens. It's like a colorful paradise with plants, flowers, and sculptures. Perfect for a nice walk and pretty pictures.
• Whirlpool Rapids: Watch the crazy whirlpool rapids where the Niagara River gets all narrow and makes a swirling whirlpool. It's like nature doing a magic trick!
• Queenston Heights Park: This park on top of a big rock gives you awesome views of the river and the area. Great for a picnic or just chilling and enjoying the view.
• Historic Sites: Along the road, you'll find old-timey spots like Brock's Monument, a salute to a hero, and the Laura Secord Homestead, linked to a cool Canadian heroine.
• Lush Vineyards: Once you leave Niagara-on-the-Lake, you'll see vineyards that make Canada's best wines. If there's time, stop at a winery, taste some, and maybe bring a bottle home.
• Niagara-on-the-Lake: This town is like a time machine to the 1800s. Cool buildings, pretty gardens, and streets lined with trees. Enjoy shopping, yummy local food, and feel the town's awesome history.
